Python Software Engineer II

About the Role

We are seeking a Python Software Engineer II to build scalable applications and backend services. This role requires strong Python fundamentals and experience working in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.

  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.

  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

  • Work with relational databases and develop efficient data integrations.

  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and modern CI/CD environments.

  • Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and optimize application performance.

  • Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders.

  • Participate in technical design discussions and Agile development activities.

  • Follow software engineering, testing, security, and development best practices.

Location

Flexibility to work from Dallas, Charlotte, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, or Delaware.

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
